Not One, But Four Marriages: Two Doctors, Two Police Officers

The Shocking Story of Divyanshi’s ₹8-Crore Marriage Fraud Network**

Kanpur / Meerut:
Uttar Pradesh Police have arrested a 30-year-old woman, Divyanshi Rathore alias Divyanshi Chaudhary, from Mawana (Meerut), who allegedly married multiple men—including two doctors and two sub-inspectors—before fleeing with cash, jewellery, and later filing false rape cases to extort money.

During her arrest on 17 November, officials were stunned to find over ₹8 crore deposited across her bank accounts.

Fourth Marriage With Sub-Inspector Exposes the Entire Fraud

Police said Divyanshi’s latest target was Sub-Inspector Aditya Kumar Lochav, posted at Gwal Toli Police Station in Kanpur. She married him in February 2024 with full family approval.
But after marriage, she repeatedly took money from Aditya under the excuse of “exam preparation” and frequently stayed away from home.

According to Aditya:

“Whenever I checked her phone, she would panic. She kept deleting UPI IDs. When I reinstalled all the apps, I found transactions worth crores linked to more than 10 bank accounts.”

Soon after being confronted about these accounts, Divyanshi left for her maternal home and never returned.

Filed False Rape Case After Fleeing

After disappearing, Divyanshi filed rape and multiple criminal charges against Aditya, attempting to trap him legally and negotiate a settlement—her usual method of extortion, police said.

Once the SIT reviewed the financial and digital evidence provided by Aditya, the probe found a pattern of fraud, extortion, and multiple marriages. Following the SIT report, ADCP Archana Singh ordered her arrest.

High-Voltage Drama Inside Kanpur Commissionerate

Sources revealed that Divyanshi created chaos and drama inside the Kanpur Police Commissionerate during hearings related to the complaint.
When both she and SI Aditya appeared, Commissioner Akhil Kumar ordered a detailed investigation, which eventually uncovered her multi-crore fraud web.

Investigating officer Amita Singh confirmed that Aditya submitted hundreds of pieces of digital evidence, proving Divyanshi targeted men, married them, and then extracted money by threats and false cases.

Earlier Marriages and Large-Scale Extortion

Aditya has alleged that:

  • Divyanshi married an SI and two doctors before him.
  • The doctors paid her large amounts to end the marriage.
  • One SI initially paid but later joined hands with her in the fraud.
  • Several police officials were also helping her; Aditya provided account-transfer details to support this claim.

Police are now verifying money trails from 10 bank accounts, suspected hawala links, and possible involvement of other associates.

Police Expands Investigation

The Kanpur Commissionerate has widened the investigation, saying Divyanshi’s network appears to be “highly organized, financially extensive, and deliberately structured to trap high-earning professionals.”

A detailed financial audit and criminal background check on her previous marriages are underway.
