“No Gangs, No Gang Wars Now”: Brijbhushan Sharan Singh Advises Dhananjay Singh and Abhay Singh

Gonda: Former BJP MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh has weighed in on the social media dispute between politicians Dhananjay Singh and Abhay Singh, offering advice on decorum and restraint. Speaking from his ancestral residence in Vishnoharpur, Singh emphasized that today’s political environment is very different from the gang-dominated 1980s and 1990s. “There are no gangs, no gang wars, and no personal conflicts now. Everyone is focused on their work,” he stated.

Choose Words Carefully
Singh urged both leaders to be mindful of their choice of words, saying, “It does not matter who is bigger or smaller. God has given everyone the opportunity to serve the public. In today’s world, everyone is equal, and any statement that emerges in the media should be addressed responsibly.”

Comments on Akhilesh Yadav’s ‘Kshatriya’ Statement
Responding to Akhilesh Yadav’s remark about being a Kshatriya, Singh said, “The Yadav lineage is considered to be connected to Lord Krishna. As I have said before, Kshatriya status is not by birth, but by deeds. Moreover, a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna is under construction.”

On Police Honors to Storyteller in Bahraich
Regarding the controversy over police honors given to a storyteller in Bahraich, Singh remarked, “Spiritual leaders guide society and can be considered as scientific thinkers in their own right. Their recognition and respect should be upheld, and disputes over their honor should be avoided. The visit of a great personality might have been unexpected.”

Gift of an Expensive Horse
Addressing the expensive horse gifted to his son Karan, Singh clarified, “It was a gift from a friend of my son and should not be misinterpreted. Its value is indeed high, but it was a personal gift.”

Brijbhushan Sharan Singh’s statements highlight the need for political maturity, responsible communication, and respect for societal figures in contemporary times.
