No Entry for General Public at Ayodhya Ram Temple on November 25; Here’s How Devotees Can Witness Darshan

Ayodhya: The grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya will host the flag-hoisting ceremony on November 25, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several distinguished guests in attendance. Due to heightened security measures, entry for the general public will be completely restricted on this day. Only invited dignitaries will be allowed inside the temple premises.

Security and Restrictions

The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra secretary, Champat Rai, stated that strict security arrangements will be enforced, and no compromises will be made. Devotees will not be permitted on Shri Ram Path from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on November 25. Attendees are requested not to bring children along, and items such as mobile phones, licensed weapons, and personal security personnel will be barred from the venue. Approximately 1,800 guests will be accommodated across 100 guest houses and ashrams in Ayodhya.

Darshan for General Public in the Evening

Millions of devotees are expected in Ayodhya on November 25 for the Shri Sita-Ram Vivahotsav celebrations. The Teerth Kshetra authorities have announced that general public will be allowed darshan in the evening, from late hours until Shayan Aarti (night prayers). On November 26, no VIP passes will be issued, ensuring all devotees get an opportunity to visit. If necessary, the temple may remain open for 15–16 hours to accommodate devotees.

Lighting Ceremony to Mark Temple Completion

In addition, under the guidance of the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation, saints and mahants have resolved to celebrate the temple’s completion with a grand Deepotsav-like illumination. On November 23, a procession along Ram Path is planned to promote plastic-free Ayodhya and raise awareness about cleanliness, adding further grandeur to the temple festivities.
