Nitin Nabin Enjoys Morning Walk at Atal Bridge, Sips Tea and Interacts with Youth at Sabarmati Riverfront

Ahmedabad, February 21, 2026: BJP National President Nitin Nabin took a relaxed and refreshing start to the second day of his Gujarat visit by exploring the scenic Sabarmati Riverfront. Early in the morning, he admired the architectural beauty of the iconic Atal Bridge, followed by a walk along the riverfront and informal interactions with local youth.

Morning at the Riverfront

After visiting Assam earlier in his northeastern tour, Nabin arrived in Gujarat on Friday afternoon. On Saturday, he spent a significant part of his morning at the Sabarmati Riverfront, a project symbolizing the “Gujarat model” of urban development. During his visit, he not only appreciated the view from a distance but also walked across the Atal Bridge, savoring tea along the way. The bridge, constructed by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation, is a unique paid-access structure contributing to civic revenue.

Interacting with Youth and Leaders

Accompanied by Gujarat BJP leaders, including state chief Jagdish Vishwakarma and local MLA Amit Shah, Nitin Nabin engaged with young people at the riverfront, discussing ideas over tea. Following the walk, he visited the Bhadra Kali temple in Ahmedabad for a brief darshan and prayer.

Symbolism and Vision

BJP Gujarat shared photographs of the visit, describing the Sabarmati Riverfront as a symbol of “Sankalp se Siddhi” (from resolve to accomplishment). Nabin emphasized the party’s focus on “Nation First – Party Next” principles and highlighted that Gujaratis also prioritize national interest alongside business. Earlier in the visit, he met Mahant Swami Maharaj of the BAPS organization, reflecting the balance between cultural engagement and political leadership.

Nitin Nabin’s visit to the riverfront showcased a blend of leadership, leisure, and citizen engagement, reinforcing the BJP’s vision of developmental and symbolic urban spaces.
