Designed in a South Indian style, the house reflects elements of Kerala and Konkan architecture from the moment one steps inside. Gadkari emphasized that the residence was constructed with comfort in mind, ensuring cool interiors during summer and warmth during winter. The house has been awarded the prestigious Platinum Green House rating by IGBC/LEED for sustainability, energy efficiency, water conservation, and promoting resident health.

Eco-Friendly Features
The mansion has been constructed entirely without plastics or environmentally harmful paints. Wood is extensively used, and the house incorporates rainwater harvesting and energy-saving systems to promote a sustainable and healthy lifestyle.

During the ceremony, Gadkari gifted his wife a gold necklace, personally placing it around her neck. The family extended gifts to other women in the household as well as attending guests, adding a personal and celebratory touch to the event.
