Patna, Bihar: In a chilling incident in Patna city, a 26-year-old nephew brutally murdered his 62-year-old uncle in broad daylight, stabbing him 10 times within 23 seconds. The horrifying attack, carried out on a busy street, was captured on CCTV, shocking residents and sending waves of fear through the city.

Brutal Attack Caught on Camera

The CCTV footage reveals the unsuspecting uncle walking calmly with his nephew. For almost 10 seconds, nothing appears unusual, and the elderly man seems completely unaware of the impending attack. Then, without warning, the nephew strikes, plunging a knife into his uncle’s neck and continuing a relentless series of blows.

Within 23 seconds, the uncle is fatally injured. Even after the attack, the assailant casually straightens his hair and walks away from the scene, leaving bystanders in shock and panic.

Public Outcry and Political Reaction

The gruesome video was shared by Bihar’s main opposition party, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), on its X handle, calling attention to rising lawlessness. The party condemned the incident, stating:
“This is Nitish Kumar’s ‘dream Bihar’ as envisioned by shameless sycophants! Daily murders in villages, rapes in neighborhoods, and negligent Bihar Police under a carefree, corrupt BJP-Nitish government. Open murders in Patna with no fear of law or police!”
