
Bidar, Karnataka, Feb 2:A mysterious explosion in Bidar district, Karnataka, left eight people injured, including six children, on Saturday, police said. The incident occurred on the road leading to the Molige Marayya Temple, sending shockwaves through the area. Authorities are investigating the cause of the blast.
According to officials, people were passing along the road near the temple when a sudden, powerful explosion occurred. The blast caused panic in the surrounding area, prompting locals to alert the police. Law enforcement teams, along with forensic experts, arrived at the scene to conduct a detailed inspection and determine the exact cause of the explosion.
Injuries and Immediate Response
Bidar Superintendent of Police, Pradeep Gunthi, said the explosion took place within the jurisdiction of the Humnabad police station. He confirmed that eight people were injured, including six children, all of whom are currently in stable condition.
Police sources indicated that the explosion occurred in a house belonging to painters, where a large quantity of paint and chemicals was stored. Investigators are examining whether these substances were involved in the blast.

SP Gunthi told news agencies that the crime team and forensic experts are carefully inspecting the site to determine the material that caused the explosion. Officials emphasized that the matter is under thorough investigation, and details regarding the exact cause and other specifics will be released once confirmed.
