Mysterious Death of 25-Year-Old Rajkumari in Bhadohi; Family Alleges Strangulation

Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh: A tragic and mysterious incident has shaken the village of Khargapur in Bhadohi, where 25-year-old Rajkumari, wife of Vikas Bind, was found dead under suspicious circumstances. While her in-laws claim it was a case of suicide, her parents allege she was strangled to death. Police have sent the body for post-mortem, and the investigation is ongoing.

Incident Details
Rajkumari, a resident of Khargapur village, was married into the family of Ram Kailash Bind from Pure Diwan, Gopiganj. She lived with her husband in the in-laws’ home and worked at a school in the Bhiti area of Prayagraj, earning a living through cleaning and maintenance work. Her income supported the household, as her husband reportedly did not have a regular job. The couple has two young children, now left without their mother.

On Monday evening, when Rajkumari did not come out of the room for an extended period, family members went to check and found her lifeless. Her in-laws stated that she had committed suicide, while her parents immediately alleged that she had been strangled. The conflicting claims created a tense atmosphere in the village, drawing a large crowd.

Police Action
Koirauna police, led by Station Officer Ram Nagina Yadav, reached the scene, questioned local residents, and secured the area. The body has been sent to the district hospital for post-mortem. Rajkumari’s parents claim she had been subjected to ongoing harassment and assert that her death was the result of a deliberate plot.

The police noted that no formal complaint has yet been filed by either side. Authorities stated that the cause of death will only be confirmed after the post-mortem report is available. A thorough investigation has been promised, and strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty.

Community Reaction
The incident has left both Rajkumari’s parental and marital homes in mourning. Villagers, deeply moved by the plight of her two young children, have raised serious concerns about women’s safety and domestic conditions in rural areas.
