Muzaffarnagar: A young man’s attempt to imitate Bollywood villain “Ballu” from the film Khalnayak landed him straight behind bars after he shot a reel inside the Mirapur police station and uploaded it on social media. The video went viral within hours, triggering shock and embarrassment within the police department.
The Reel That Sparked Trouble
Aamir, a resident of Sikandarpur village, walked into the Mirapur police station a few days ago and filmed himself lip-syncing and acting to the iconic song “Nayak Nahi, Khalnayak Hoon Main”.
Inspired by Sanjay Dutt’s notorious character, he posed fearlessly inside the station premises, roaming around casually as though he owned the place. Once uploaded, the reel spread rapidly online and soon reached the attention of senior police officials.
A Serious Breach of Discipline
The video raised serious concerns over police station security and discipline. Aamir was seen strolling freely, striking dramatic poses, and portraying himself as a ‘villain’ right in the middle of an active police campus — an act the department termed as completely unacceptable and damaging to its dignity.
Mirapur police immediately launched an investigation. After confirming the authenticity of the video, the Anti-Romeo Squad traced and arrested Aamir on Monday.
From ‘Khalnayak’ to Helpless
Police officials said Aamir received a stern lesson after his arrest. His swagger was gone, and the self-styled “Khalnayak” could barely stand when brought out of the station.
With folded hands, he repeatedly apologized for his actions, visibly shaken by the consequences of his antics.
Official Statement
Circle Officer (Jansath) Yatendra Nagar said the act of shooting a reel inside a police station and making it viral is a serious violation.
“Aamir has been identified, arrested, and legal action is being taken against him. The dignity of police stations cannot be compromised, and strict action will continue in such cases,” he said.
