The tragic event occurred in the Nithauwa police station area, near Virula Phala, and has sent ripples of shock through the locality. An empty 5-liter plastic can found at the scene has raised questions about the cause of the fire.

Incident Details

According to Nithauwa Police Officer Ghanshyam, police received information around 2 PM on Wednesday that a car traveling from Nithauwa to Kanodiya had caught fire near Virula Phala. A police team, with help from locals, quickly controlled the flames.

Kishore Kumar ran a hardware business in Mumbai. He had visited his ancestral village with his wife and two daughters on January 24, just four days before the incident.

At the site, police found an empty 5-liter plastic can, which has been seized for further investigation. Authorities are probing whether the can was linked to the fire.

Given the severity of the incident, an FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) team was called to the scene, where they collected necessary samples. The burnt body has been sent to Dungarpur District Hospital for post-mortem, scheduled for Thursday. The police are awaiting the family’s report to determine the next course of action.
