MP Weather for Feb 14, 2026: Unseasonal Heat Hits, Khargone Tops 33°C

Bhopal, Feb 13, 2026: Residents of Madhya Pradesh are experiencing an early taste of summer as temperatures soar across the state. On the eve of Valentine’s Day, 15 districts have already recorded daytime highs above 30°C, with Khargone emerging as the hottest at 33.2°C. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has not issued any major weather alerts for Saturday. However, slight seasonal fluctuations may affect some northern regions until February 16.

Heatwave-Like Conditions in February
The second week of February has brought an abrupt shift in weather patterns. Cold conditions have almost disappeared, and daytime temperatures are rising rapidly. According to the IMD, the next 48 hours are expected to remain mostly dry, which could further intensify the heat. Across the state, temperatures in several districts are already 3–4°C above normal.

Regional Overview
The Nimar and Malwa regions are experiencing the most pronounced rise in temperatures. Alongside Khargone, districts such as Khandwa and Barwani are recording unusually high readings. Major cities, including Bhopal and Indore, are seeing bright sunshine and warm days. The IMD notes that two successive western disturbances in northern India on February 13 and 16 may bring partial cloud cover to northern districts like Gwalior, Chambal, Bhind, and Morena, potentially lowering temperatures by 1–2°C.

Bhopal Weather Forecast
For Bhopal, the upcoming three days are expected to be largely dry and stable, with minimal influence from the distant low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal. On February 14, light clouds may appear, causing a slight drop of 1–2°C. By February 15, skies will clear again, with slightly warm daytime temperatures and mild chill at night. Saturday’s temperature is expected to range from 13°C to 30°C.
