MP Man Shoots Neighbor’s Dog at Poultry Farm; Arrest Made, Firearm Seized, License to Be Revoked


Mandsaur, MP: A shocking incident unfolded in Mandsaur where a poultry farm owner shot a neighbor’s dog after it allegedly attacked chickens on his farm. The dog was critically injured, and police have arrested the accused and seized his licensed firearm.

Incident Sparks Tension in the Area

The incident occurred late Wednesday night at Bakri Farm area. According to police reports, Anwar Ajmeri, the poultry farm owner, fired at the dog with a 12-bore licensed firearm after the dog entered his farm and killed some chickens. The incident created tension in the locality.

Former BJP MLA and state spokesperson Yashpal Singh Sisodia intervened, urging the police to take strict action against the accused.

Police Take Swift Action

The dog, belonging to a neighboring family, suffered serious injuries from the gunshot. The Mandsaur police promptly registered a case, arrested Anwar Ajmeri, and seized the firearm. Authorities have also indicated that the license of the firearm will be revoked as part of legal proceedings.

Police continue to investigate the matter, highlighting the importance of resolving disputes without resorting to violence, even when pets or livestock are involved.
