In a shocking incident from Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh, a 38-year-old woman and mother of two has allegedly eloped with a 19-year-old youth from her neighbourhood. The distraught husband, accompanied by his children, has approached senior police officials seeking help in tracing her whereabouts.
According to the family, the woman, identified as Renu Saini, went missing from her home on Sunday. Her husband, Anil Saini, claims that she left with ₹80,000 in cash and some jewellery. When she did not return until late evening, the family began searching the nearby areas but found no trace of her.
Husband Pleads With Police for Assistance
Unable to locate his wife, Anil took his two children to the office of the Superintendent of Police (SP), Hapur, and filed a complaint. He said the sudden disappearance has devastated the family, especially the children, who have been unable to cope with the situation.
Anil stated that the family had been living a normal life for the past 18 years of marriage, and there were no visible signs of any conflict. “Her decision has shattered us completely. My children have not stopped crying,” he said.
19-Year-Old Neighbour Suspected
Anil has accused a 19-year-old youth named Vikas, who lives in the same locality, of influencing his wife and leaving with her. According to him, Vikas had been in frequent contact with Renu for some time, and the two allegedly left together when they found an opportunity.
Police have registered the complaint and initiated a search operation to locate both individuals. Officials have assured the family that necessary action is being taken and the matter is being treated with priority.

The case has left the neighbourhood stunned, with many expressing disbelief over the sudden turn of events. Meanwhile, the husband continues to appeal to authorities for swift action, hoping to reunite his family and ensure the safety of his wife and children.
