Moradabad Division on High Alert: Over 100 Doctors Under Agency Scrutiny After Delhi Blast

Moradabad, UP: In the wake of the Delhi blast and the discovery of a large cache of explosives in Faridabad, intelligence and police agencies in the Moradabad Division have heightened security measures. Special attention is being given to individuals—especially doctors—who frequently travel to Delhi, Faridabad, or Jammu and Kashmir.

Authorities have identified over 500 Kashmir-origin residents across Moradabad, Amroha, Sambhal, Bijnor, and Rampur districts, with more than 100 doctors among them.

Focused Investigations

Following the Delhi blast and related Faridabad explosives case, several doctors’ names surfaced, prompting agencies to initiate comprehensive scrutiny in the Moradabad Division. Investigators are examining travel histories, mobile call records, and personal contacts of these individuals. Over the past month, data relating to trips to Delhi, Faridabad, and Jammu and Kashmir has been systematically collected.

Local Surveillance Intensifies

In Moradabad city, doctors practicing in neighborhoods such as Majhola, Pakbara, and Civil Lines are under increased observation. Local intelligence units (LIUs) have been activated to monitor suspicious activities and gather information.

SSP Satpal Antil confirmed that no direct action has been taken so far, but agencies are closely tracking the movements and communications of all persons of interest. The focus remains on those who may have connections with suspects in the Delhi blast or Faridabad cases. While no concrete evidence has yet emerged, agencies are pursuing precautionary investigations to prevent any potential terrorist activity.

This proactive surveillance highlights the increasing emphasis on preemptive security measures in the region to safeguard against threats in the aftermath of high-profile incidents.
