Mohsin Sheikh Converts to Sanatan Dharma, Fulfilling Lifelong Desire

Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh: In a significant religious event in Balaghat district, a young man named Mohsin Sheikh voluntarily embraced Sanatan Dharma, fulfilling a lifelong aspiration. The ceremony took place during a grand Hindu convention at the Itwari Ganj Agricultural Market Hall. The sacred ritual was conducted in the revered presence of Shri Jagatguru Swami Pragyanand Saraswati Maharaj.

Journey to Sanatan Dharma

Mohsin Sheikh, originally from Ward No. 13 of Balaghat town, revealed that he had been inspired by Hindu teachings and Sanatan philosophy since childhood. For the past four years, he had sought a proper platform to formally adopt the faith but was unable to find one. Mohsin credited Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) district head Yagnesh Lalu Chawda for facilitating this “homecoming” to his spiritual roots.

Ceremony Highlights

During the convention, Mohsin officially embraced Sanatan Dharma in a solemn ceremony. Alongside Swami Pragyanand Saraswati Maharaj, the stage featured Ashok Baghel, acting head of Seoni Division, and Sadhana Shukla, who played a key role in guiding the proceedings.

After the ritual, Mohsin stated that meeting Yagnesh Chawda had been a turning point in his journey from Islam to Hinduism.

Emphasis on Hindu Unity and Culture

Speakers at the convention highlighted the importance of Hindu awakening, preservation of Sanatan culture, and social unity. They stressed that in today’s era, it is vital for society to remain organized and safeguard its cultural heritage.

They also explained that Sanatan Dharma is not just a religion but a way of life, promoting unity, values, and ethical living, thereby fostering a connected and harmonious society.
