Vaishali, Bihar: Bihar Panchayati Raj Minister Deepak Prakash carried out an unannounced inspection of development projects in the Desri block of Vaishali district, creating a stir among officials and workers on-site. His surprise visit to the under-construction Azampur Panchayat Government Building drew immediate attention and heightened activity among the construction teams.

Detailed Assessment of Progress and Quality
During the inspection, Minister Prakash closely evaluated the building materials, structural strength of the walls, and overall progress of the project. Recognizing the importance of this ambitious initiative in strengthening rural governance, he emphasized that no lapses or compromises would be tolerated. The minister instructed the on-site officials and contractors to ensure high-quality construction and complete transparency in the execution process.

Strict Deadlines and Accountability
Minister Prakash made it clear that the construction must be completed within the prescribed timeline to enable villagers to access all government facilities under a single roof at the earliest. He warned that any future technical lapses or negligence would lead to strict action against the responsible officials.

The inspection was attended by local BJP leaders, including former district president Laldev Ram, Shivshankar Singh, and former PACS president Anil Kumar Singh, along with several junior engineers and supervisors. Minister Prakash also interacted with local residents, assuring them that the state government remains committed to empowering Panchayats and realizing the vision of a fully functional ‘Panchayat Government.’
