Mathura’s Trio of Elderly Women Die Within a Week, Leaving Town Awed by Their Extraordinary Bond

Mathura, January 16:
In a deeply moving story from Farah town in Mathura, three elderly women who shared an extraordinary bond passed away within a week of each other, leaving the community in shock and awe. The story has touched hearts across the region, showcasing the profound power of friendship and love that transcends even death.

The Timeline of the Tragedy

The series of losses began on January 6, when 93-year-old Anguri Devi, the eldest and the matriarch of her family, passed away. Anguri Devi was not only the elder sister-in-law but also the closest companion and confidante of her two younger sisters-in-law. Her death left an irreplaceable void in their lives.

Barely five days later, on January 11, 77-year-old Son Devi, one of the younger sisters-in-law, succumbed to the shock of Anguri Devi’s passing. The grief-stricken woman’s health deteriorated rapidly following the death of her beloved elder sister-in-law.

Finally, 80-year-old Maya Devi, the second younger sister-in-law, passed away within the same week, leaving the community to mourn all three women. Their deaths in such quick succession have been described by locals as a testament to their inseparable bond.

Friendship Beyond Blood and Family Ties

While the relationship between elder and younger sisters-in-law in society is often stereotyped with conflicts, these three women shattered that notion. Though they lived in separate households, they shared every joy and sorrow together, often spending hours on the phone if unable to meet in person. Their daily gatherings were a familiar and cherished sight in the town, symbolizing unity, care, and devotion.

Residents now speak of their collective passing as nothing short of a miracle of nature—a story where true friendship and love could not be separated even by death. The tale of Anguri Devi, Son Devi, and Maya Devi has become a powerful example of enduring human connection, leaving a lasting impression on all who hear it.

This extraordinary bond, so rare in life, has become an inspiring reminder that deep emotional ties can transcend even the finality of death.
