Mathura: Youth Brutally Beaten on Road in Front of Police; Video of Attack Goes Viral

Mathura, UP: In a shocking display of lawlessness, a group of armed goons in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, brutally beat a young man in broad daylight on a busy national highway—right in front of the police. The attackers even targeted a car during the assault, while police reportedly only sounded their sirens and failed to intervene. The entire incident has been captured on video and is now going viral on social media.

Jyoti Sharma reports from Mathura: Criminals in Mathura are growing increasingly audacious, showing no fear of law enforcement. The latest incident took place near the Mandi Chowraha, in front of the “Punjabi Rasoi” restaurant, where a gang of strongmen and rowdies unleashed a violent attack in full view of law enforcement.

Eyewitnesses said the attackers arrived on luxury vehicles including Thar, Scorpio, Creta cars, and motorcycles. They surrounded a white Creta car and attacked it with sticks and rods, causing severe damage. During the melee, the highway police PRV reached the spot, but the attackers continued their assault unabated, chasing and brutally beating the victim on the road.

Police Stand By as Attack Unfolds
Despite repeated siren warnings from the police, the gang showed complete disregard for law enforcement. The attackers struck fearlessly in front of the police, beating the young man mercilessly while the authorities reportedly did not intervene directly.

Incident Captured on Video
The violent episode was recorded by bystanders and the footage quickly circulated on social media. The video clearly shows the attackers swinging sticks while police remained largely passive, limited to sounding sirens.

Following the viral video, local authorities have sprung into action. Police officials stated that the assailants are being identified and efforts are underway for their swift arrest.
