Patna: Popular YouTuber and public affairs activist Manish Kashyap is back in his signature aggressive style. Known for exposing issues in public institutions through viral videos, Kashyap recently stirred up controversy at the IGIMS hospital in Patna, promising to investigate alleged irregularities at the hospital’s blood bank.
In a video shared on his former account, Kashyap is seen confronting staff at IGIMS. “We are providing feedback to the central team that there is malpractice in the blood bank here. Blood is not being supplied properly and is delayed by four hours,” he said. Addressing the staff directly, he added, “Don’t be afraid. I will reveal everything—from the beginning to the end. I will dig out the entire ‘birth chart’ of the issue.”
The video shows Kashyap, in a yellow sweatshirt, talking to two individuals while surrounded by a group of female doctors. One staff member attempts to calm him, saying feedback is being taken, while another advises him to leave.
Kashyap’s video included clippings of news reports highlighting controversies at IGIMS, including an FIR against the director Dr. Binde’s son and alleged fraud cases involving doctors at AIIMS Patna. Over the years, Kashyap has consistently highlighted mismanagement and corruption in hospitals and other public institutions. He has previously faced jail time, yet his following has remained strong.
Netizens have reacted strongly to his recent video, praising his boldness. One user wrote, “Manish Ji, remember the power you had when the microphone was in your hand. Please don’t enter politics; stick to exposing the truth with courage.” Others recalled previous promises made to the public and expressed support for his activism.
Kashyap, who runs the YouTube channel ‘Sach Tak,’ had previously joined BJP and even contested elections, but after setbacks, he aligned with the public welfare platform ‘Jan Suraj.’ Now, he is once again using videos to bring public issues to light, reclaiming his old assertive style.
