Manipur Woman Stabs South Korean Partner in Noida Apartment; Reveals Shocking Details

Noida: A tragic incident unfolded in Noida when a Manipur woman, living in a live-in relationship with her South Korean boyfriend, fatally stabbed him after a domestic altercation. Police investigations have revealed the shocking circumstances leading to the death.

According to police reports, Duck Hee Yuh, a branch manager at a South Korean logistics company based in Advant Tower, Sector 142, Noida, had been living with Lunjeena Pamai from Manipur for the past one and a half years. On the night of the incident, Lunjeena accidentally used her boyfriend’s towel after taking a bath. This triggered a heated argument, during which the South Korean man reportedly insulted her and other Indians present in the house.

Confrontation Turns Deadly

Upset by the verbal abuse, the woman attempted to leave the flat with her bag. In a drunken state, Duck Hee Yuh went to the kitchen, grabbed a vegetable knife, and tried to attack her. In the ensuing struggle, Lunjeena snatched the knife from him and stabbed him in the chest. He collapsed immediately, bleeding heavily.

Immediate Medical Attention and Legal Action

Despite her efforts to save him—she took him to GEMS Hospital in a government ambulance with the help of the driver—doctors declared him dead. Following a complaint lodged by the driver, the Knowledge Park Police Station registered a case against Lunjeena for murder. She was presented in court on Monday and remanded to judicial custody.

International Involvement

The police contacted the South Korean Embassy regarding the incident. While the embassy reached out to the deceased’s family, they reportedly declined to travel to India. After completing the post-mortem, authorities handed over the body to the embassy team.

Duck Hee Yuh had been serving as branch manager of the South Korean logistics company in Advant Tower, Sector 142, Noida, at the time of the incident. The case is currently under further investigation.
