
Mathura, Uttar Pradesh: In a spiritually enriching meeting, Mahant Vipin Bihari Das, head of Jateri Dham in Rajasthan, visited the revered Braj saint Premanand Maharaj at the Shri Radha Keli Kunj Ashram in Vrindavan. The meeting was marked by devotion, music, and meaningful spiritual discourse.
Mahant Vipin Bihari Das performed kirtan and hymn singing accompanied by the veena, leaving Premanand Maharaj completely spellbound. The two spiritual luminaries engaged in an extended satsang, discussing devotional traditions and the transformative power of music in cultivating bhakti (devotion). During the interaction, Mahant Vipin Bihari Das shared how saints like Kabir Ji and Namdev Ji imparted musical ragas to Mohini Das Ji, enabling deep spiritual connection and devotion.
Two Decades of Social Service:
Mahant Vipin Bihari Das has dedicated over 20 years to social service, continuously singing devotional hymns in praise of the divine. Upon hearing his musical offerings, Premanand Maharaj expressed his delight and requested an additional performance, highlighting the profound impact of Vipin Bihari Das’s artistry and devotion.

Originally from Deori Tehsil in Sagar district, Madhya Pradesh, Mahant Vipin Bihari Das is not only an accomplished musician and veena player but also a devoted practitioner of the Swami Haridas tradition. Under his guidance, Jateri Dham runs various social initiatives, including elderly care homes, and he regularly conducts discourses on the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha. His mastery in classical music, veena performance, and devotional hymn singing has made his contributions to spiritual life and community service both remarkable and inspirational.
