Amidst the spiritual fervor, a young saint, Satua Baba, has caught everyone’s attention by arriving in a luxury Land Rover Defender worth ₹3 crore.
Jagatguru Mahamandaleshwar Santosh Das, popularly known as Satua Baba, made a striking entry into the Magh Mela premises in this high-end vehicle, making him one of the most talked-about personalities at the fair.
Be it the Kumbh in Prayagraj or the Magh Mela, saints, devotees, and people serving the event often become a part of the headlines. This year, Satua Baba is in the spotlight, not just for his spiritual presence but also for his style and luxury car. Despite being a young saint, Satua Baba lives a life that appears disciplined and spiritually inclined.
The Most Expensive Ride at Magh Mela
During the fair, his black sunglasses and the luxury Land Rover Defender stood out, reportedly making him the saint with the most expensive vehicle at the event. The Defender is priced at around ₹2.85 crore, and with registration and other charges included, its total cost exceeds ₹3 crore.
Registered in Uttarakhand
The car is registered in Uttarakhand, specifically Haridwar, and bears the inscription: “Vishnu Swami Jagatguru Satua Baba Kashi.”
Satua Baba’s ashram and service camp at the Magh Mela also reflect grandeur. A large pavilion showcasing Sanatan culture and a service center gate have been set up, emphasizing his organizational capabilities alongside spiritual work.
Who Is Satua Baba?
Satua Baba was born as Santosh Tiwari in Masora village, Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh. At the young age of 11, he left home to pursue a spiritual path. He is now the head of the Satua Baba Peeth of the Vishnu Swami sect, taking over after the demise of Peethadhishwar Brahmlin Yamunacharya Maharaj Satua Baba.
Close to CM Yogi
Satua Baba is also known to be close to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He has frequently been seen alongside CM Yogi in cities such as Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Gorakhpur.
