Tragic Accident in Dindori: Bike Collides with Stationary Truck, Four Dead

Dindori, Madhya Pradesh: A devastating road accident occurred in Dindori on Wednesday afternoon when a speeding motorcycle collided with a stationary truck in the village of Kohni Devari. Four people, including three women, lost their lives in the tragic incident. The police have registered a case and sent the bodies for post-mortem examination.

Victims Were Traveling to Jabalpur
According to Shahpura Police Station in-charge Anurag Jamdar, the deceased were Non Singh (28), his wife Saroj (22), and his niece Priya (12), who were traveling on a motorcycle to their in-laws’ village in Kundam, Jabalpur district. On the way, they picked up a relative, Champa Bai (19), from Katangi village.

Immediate Casualties at the Scene
Around 3:30 PM, near Kohni Devari, their motorcycle collided with the rear of a stationary truck numbered MP 04 GB 2944 while heading towards Jabalpur. Three people died on the spot, and the severely injured fourth victim succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Shahpura Community Health Center.

Truck Driver Flees the Scene
The truck driver abandoned the vehicle and fled immediately after the accident. The police have seized the truck and are investigating the case. Following post-mortem procedures, the bodies have been handed over to the grieving families, who are now in deep mourning.
