Love Beyond Limits: Megha and Aditya Tie the Knot on Valentine’s Eve Despite Kidney Failure Struggle

Bhilai/Indore: In an inspiring story of unwavering love and commitment, Megha Paliwal from Indore and Aditya Sahu from Bhilai are set to begin a new chapter of life together by tying the knot on February 13, just a day before Valentine’s Day.

Their marriage is being widely discussed not only as a wedding celebration but also as a powerful symbol of faith, devotion, and true companionship — proving that love is not just about sharing happy moments, but also about standing strong through life’s toughest challenges.

A Relationship That Began With Friendship

Megha and Aditya first met in 2017 while working at a private company in Vadodara, Gujarat. What began as a friendship gradually turned into a deep bond. Over the years, their relationship strengthened, and after nine years of togetherness, the couple decided to get married with the consent of both families.

Their wedding was initially fixed for July 21, 2024, and preparations were already underway when an unexpected medical crisis changed everything.

A Shocking Diagnosis Before Marriage

During the wedding preparations, Megha’s health suddenly deteriorated. After medical examinations, doctors revealed a devastating diagnosis — both her kidneys had failed. The news came as a major shock for her family, as it meant long-term treatment and an uncertain future.

However, at a time when many relationships might collapse under pressure, Aditya chose to stand even more firmly by Megha’s side.

Aditya Refused to Step Back

According to family members, Megha has been hospitalised multiple times and has undergone three to four surgeries so far. She is currently undergoing regular dialysis, and the prolonged treatment has also affected her physically, including hair loss.

Despite all hardships, Aditya has remained her constant support — accompanying her to hospitals, standing in long medical queues, and taking responsibility during every stage of treatment and surgery.

Family Still Searching for a Kidney Donor

Megha’s elder sister, Chanchal, said that all family members were tested, but unfortunately, no one’s kidney matched for donation. The family has now applied for cadaver kidney transplant procedures in Ahmedabad and Kolkata, hoping that a suitable donor will be found soon.

‘Illness Cannot Change My Decision’: Aditya

Aditya stated that he had already accepted Megha as his life partner, and her illness cannot change his commitment.

He believes that relationships are not meant only for good times, but are truly tested in moments of pain and struggle. His decision to marry Megha despite her health condition has earned admiration from many.

Wedding to Take Place on February 13

The couple is set to perform wedding rituals in Bhilai on February 13, while Megha’s dialysis treatment will continue even during the marriage ceremonies.

Their story has become a message for society — a reminder that true love is defined not by comfort, but by loyalty and strength in the hardest moments of life.
