Leopard Enters Residential Building in Mira-Bhayandar, Three Injured

Mumbai: Panic gripped residents of Mira-Bhayandar on Friday as a leopard entered a residential building in Bhayandar East. Reports confirm that the wild animal attacked three people, leaving them seriously injured. Emergency teams, including the fire brigade, police, and forest department officials, rushed to the scene to rescue the animal and ensure public safety.

Chaos in the Society
The incident occurred near Talav Road, behind Sai Baba Hospital, in the Parijat Society. Residents were thrown into a state of fear as the leopard prowled inside the building complex, jumping from one area to another. People quickly secured their homes by locking doors and windows, while some managed to capture videos of the leopard on their mobile phones.

Injured Taken to Hospital
The three injured individuals were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their conditions are reported to be serious.

Rescue Operations Underway
Forest department teams, along with police and other emergency responders, are currently on-site trying to safely rescue the leopard. Courageous residents even managed to temporarily contain the animal by closing doors near the staircases to prevent it from moving to lower floors. Authorities are working to ensure the safety of the residents while rescuing the leopard from the building.
