
Bharatpur, Rajasthan: In a sensational office misconduct case, two administrative officers of Rajasthan Roadways have come under scrutiny after a video of them engaging in a racy performance inside their office went viral. The clip allegedly shows one officer applying lipstick and a sindoor (vermilion mark) to his colleague, sparking widespread outrage. Following the leak, both officers have been immediately placed on Awaiting Posting Orders (APO) pending departmental investigation.
The Viral Video
The officers involved are Sunil Kumar, posted at the Bharatpur Roadways Depot, and Gayatri Devi, from the Lohagarh Depot. The video shows Sunil Kumar singing, while Gayatri Devi records the performance. Another segment shows Gayatri Devi draping Sunil Kumar in a chunari (ceremonial scarf) and applying tilak and lipstick to him, creating a highly inappropriate scene for a government office.
Immediate Departmental Response
The viral video caused an immediate stir within the Rajasthan Roadways department. On 10 November 2025, the Deputy Assistant General Manager issued orders suspending both officers from their duties and placing them on APO status until further notice.
Ongoing Investigation
The department has initiated a formal inquiry into the incident. The investigation will determine further disciplinary measures, highlighting the importance of professional conduct and decorum within government offices. Until the inquiry is complete, both officers will remain away from their official positions.
