New Delhi: Property dealer Jitendra Kumar Gupta and his family in West Vinod Nagar have been receiving repeated death threats from shooters associated with the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The threats target Jitendra, his two sons, and his brother Satendra Kumar Gupta.
Family Lives in Fear
The continuous threats have left the family terrified. Earlier, Delhi Police arrested two shooters, including a minor, in connection with the case, raising hopes that the matter would be resolved. However, threats have continued unabated. On Friday, gang members reportedly called Jitendra, warning: “No matter how much security you arrange, we are used to shooting people even amidst security. Next time, you or your son will be shot wherever you are spotted.”
Precautions Taken
Following these threats, Jitendra has closed his office and confined himself at home. His sons have been sent to unknown locations for safety. On Monday morning, Satendra and his family also received threatening calls via mobile and WhatsApp from gang members, asking about Jitendra and his family.
Details of the Victims
Both Jitendra and Satendra reside with their families at House No. F-79, West Vinod Nagar. Satendra operates a grocery shop on the ground floor, while Jitendra is involved in property dealing. The family has lodged a complaint with Delhi Police via 112 seeking protection and action against the gang.
The ongoing threats highlight the extreme intimidation tactics used by organized criminal gangs in Delhi, posing a serious risk to law-abiding citizens and their families.
