Khatushyamji Temple to Transform Education in Rajasthan, ₹8 Crore Investment for Modern School Campus

Sikar, Rajasthan: The renowned religious site Khatushyamji Temple in Sikar district is now set to leave its mark in the field of education. In a major social initiative, the Shri Shyam Temple Committee has decided to construct an entirely new building for the government school located in Khatu Nagri, aiming to provide modern learning facilities for students.

₹8 Crore Investment for a Modern Campus

The temple committee will invest approximately ₹8 crore in the project. The new building will be designed following Khatushyamji’s traditional architectural style, blending religious heritage with modern infrastructure. The proposed campus will feature 22 rooms, including classrooms, a principal’s office, library, laboratories, computer room, and a fully-equipped store.

Local students, parents, and residents have welcomed the initiative enthusiastically, seeing it as a step toward significantly improving the quality of education in Khatu.

Temple Committee Hands Over Approval to School Authorities

Prithvi Singh Chauhan, President of Shri Shyam Temple Committee, and Minister Manvendra Singh Chauhan handed the official approval letter to Principal Banwari Lal Kumawat and Vice Principal Ranjana Jangid. The committee emphasized:

“A well-equipped campus ensures that children learn in a better environment, which will lead to improved results.”

Part of Khatu’s Broader Development Vision

Under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme-2, Khatu has recently seen significant development, including modernization of the railway station and other infrastructure upgrades. The temple committee’s new initiative complements these efforts, extending the focus to educational development.

Impact on Students

The modernization of the Government Senior Secondary School will directly benefit thousands of students from Khatu and surrounding villages. The new campus will not only enhance learning quality but also create new opportunities for students to excel academically.

With this initiative, the Shri Shyam Temple Committee has set a landmark in Rajasthan, demonstrating that faith and education can together pave the way for a brighter future.
