Jodhpur CISF Jawman Kills Father Over Land Dispute, Relatives Injured in Attempt to Intervene

Jodhpur, Rajasthan: In a shocking incident near Pipad town, a CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) jawan allegedly murdered his father over a longstanding land dispute. The incident occurred on Thursday morning when the jawan, Prakash Pichkia, returned home on leave.

According to police, Prakash attacked his father, Rampal Pichkia, with a spade as soon as he reached the family residence in Sathin village near Pipad. Rampal sustained severe head injuries and collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival. The violent confrontation reportedly stemmed from an ongoing land-related dispute that the two had been unable to resolve.

Relatives Injured While Trying to Intervene
During the altercation, relatives present at the scene—Baldev Ram and a farmer, Kansingh—attempted to stop the attack. Prakash allegedly assaulted them as well, leaving both injured.

Police Response and Investigation
According to Jodhpur Rural SP Narayan Togas, Pipad police promptly reached the scene upon receiving information about the incident and took the accused into custody. Preliminary investigation indicates that the attack was triggered by a dispute over land. Prakash is currently posted in Jaipur and had come home on leave when the fatal altercation occurred. The police are conducting further investigations into the case.

This shocking act has left the local community in disbelief, raising concerns about unresolved family disputes and the use of violence as a solution.
