
Medininagar, Palamu: In a shocking case of criminal conspiracy, a government school teacher in Jharkhand’s Palamu district has been arrested for allegedly plotting the murder of the husband of a female cook at his school. Police also apprehended three hired criminals, preventing a major crime.
Illegal Relationship Sparks Conspiracy
The accused, identified as Satyadev Vishwakarma (50), allegedly wanted to pursue an illegal relationship with the school’s midday meal cook. Her husband reportedly stood in the way of his advances. According to Superintendent of Police Reshma Rameshan, the cook frequently complained to her husband about Vishwakarma’s behavior. The teacher and the husband had previously been involved in arguments and scuffles over this matter.
Hired Hitmen Apprehended Before Crime
Vishwakarma allegedly conspired to kill the cook’s husband with the help of three hired criminals, offering them ₹40,000 for the job. Police were tipped off about the plot, and on Saturday night, they intercepted the attackers while they were en route to the cook’s residence.
A pistol and two knives were recovered from the criminals, who have been identified as Rajwansh Parhiya (52), Raju Saw (35), and Mantu Kumar Parhiya (33).
The arrests have averted a serious crime, and further investigations are underway.
