Jaipur: Rajasthan is set to get a major boost in infrastructure and industrial development as the government has approved the Greenfield Expressway connecting Jaipur to Pachpadra. Estimated at ₹11,492 crore, the project aims to strengthen connectivity across five districts and open up new avenues for investment, industry, and employment.

Project Overview
The 350–400 km long expressway will start from Jaipur and pass through Kishangarh (Ajmer), Pali, Jodhpur, before reaching Pachpadra. The project has received central government approval, and the land acquisition process along with the DPR (Detailed Project Report) is currently underway. The route is expected to pass through the Jodhpur-Pali region, improving connectivity to the western Rajasthan segment of the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC).
Benefits for Refineries and Petrochemical Hubs
The expressway is expected to significantly benefit the Pachpadra refinery and the proposed petrochemical hub. It will provide a safe and direct corridor for transporting raw materials and finished products, reducing logistics costs. The expressway will also link with the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor and the Amritsar-Jamnagar Expressway.
Boost to Trade, Industry, and Employment
Travel time between Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Balotra is expected to decrease by approximately 2–3 hours, facilitating smoother movement for trade and exports. With direct access to the India-Mala Corridor and Kandla port, the route is poised to become a key corridor for industrial growth and export logistics.
According to civil engineer Kushal Prajapat, the expressway will establish a model logistics framework and open new avenues for industrial clusters, ring roads, and employment opportunities in the state.
