Jaipur: A tragic case of love, an illicit affair, and a financial dispute has come to light in Jaipur’s Shastri Nagar, where a 50-year-old woman was brutally murdered. The accused allegedly disposed of her body in a plastic sack outside a neighbor’s house, attempting to mislead the police.
Illicit Relationship Turns Deadly
The victim, separated from her husband for several years, had been involved in a relationship with a neighboring man. On Sunday night, the accused, Jitendra Singh, invited her to his residence. Following the illicit encounter, an argument over money erupted. The altercation escalated, resulting in Jitendra fatally pushing the woman, causing her head to hit a wall and leading to excessive bleeding.
Body Dumped in Neighbor’s Porch
The murder came to light on Tuesday morning when a plastic sack was spotted on the porch of contractor Suraj Kumar’s house in Subhash Nagar. Initially assumed to contain the tenant’s belongings, the sack was opened by Suraj Kumar’s wife, Munni Devi, revealing the victim’s body. Police officers, including Additional DCP Bajrang Singh Shekhawat, promptly arrived at the scene.
Investigation with CCTV and Dog Squad
A dog squad was deployed to trace the crime. The dog led the police 100 meters away to a house where Jitendra Singh was found. CCTV footage revealed Jitendra dragging the sack from his house to the porch, confirming his involvement. It appears he attempted to mislead authorities by disposing of the body a short distance away from the crime scene.
Post-Murder Actions and Arrest
After the murder, Jitendra reportedly stayed near the body overnight. The following day, he purchased plastic sacks and rope, wrapped the body, and cleaned the crime scene to destroy evidence. Late Monday night, he transported the body and dumped it on a neighbor’s porch. Police have arrested Jitendra Singh in connection with the murder.

Additional DCP Bajrang Singh Shekhawat stated that the victim, around 50 years old, lived in Jaipur’s Telipara area and had been separated from her husband for approximately ten years. The police confirmed that Jitendra Singh had an ongoing illicit relationship with the victim, which ultimately led to this tragic incident.
