Jhunjhunu (Rajasthan):
The historic and tourist-famous town of Mandawa in Rajasthan recently witnessed a unique and culturally rich wedding ceremony that beautifully blended international love with Indian traditions. In a grand celebration held at a private hotel, an Italian groom tied the knot with an Indian bride from Mumbai, following complete Hindu Vedic rituals.
The wedding of Marco (Italy) and Jui Ambani (Mumbai) became the center of attraction, as it showcased the timeless charm of Indian culture in front of global guests.
Wedding Performed with Full Vedic Rituals
The marriage ceremony was conducted strictly according to Sanatan Hindu traditions. The bride and groom took the seven sacred vows (Saat Phere) amid Vedic chants and performed all rituals in a traditional manner.
To ensure authenticity, nine Brahmins from Bhavat Vidyapeeth, Vrindavan, were specially invited to conduct the wedding. For the convenience of foreign guests, Sanskrit mantras and shlokas were also translated into English, helping everyone understand the significance of each ritual.
Guests from 13 Countries Attend the Celebration
Hotel owners Arvind Parikh and Madhusudan Khemani informed that the bride, Jui, is the daughter of Bhavna and Jatin Ambani, residents of Mumbai. She is currently working in Rome as a conservation architect with ICCR-OM.
The groom Marco is the son of Massimo and Fulvia, who also attended the ceremony.
The wedding was attended by nearly 200 guests, including relatives, friends, and colleagues of both families. People traveled from 13 different countries, including India, to be part of this special occasion.
Flower Holi Becomes the Highlight
Instead of a traditional reception, the Ambani family hosted a spectacular “Flower Holi” celebration at night, which became the most talked-about attraction of the event.
The evening featured a beautiful Radha-Krishna dance performance, filling the atmosphere with devotion and joy. Guests were also served a special blend of Indian and European cuisines, making the Indo-Italian cultural fusion even more memorable.
Mandawa Gains International Recognition
This grand wedding not only highlighted the richness of Indian traditions but also proved how Indian rituals continue to fascinate people worldwide. The event brought fresh attention to Mandawa as a rising destination for cultural and heritage tourism, giving the town yet another reason to be celebrated on an international level.
