
Chhatarpur (Madhya Pradesh): Indian women’s cricket team star and World Cup winner Kranti Gaud visited the renowned Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur district ahead of her upcoming tour of Australia. She offered prayers at the temple of Bageshwar Balaji and sought blessings for India’s success in the upcoming series.
Kranti Gaud arrived at the temple along with her parents and brothers, where she performed rituals and worshipped Lord Hanuman with full devotion. She prayed for the Indian team’s victory and expressed that the visit brought her immense peace and positivity before her overseas journey.
After offering prayers at the temple, Kranti attended the ongoing spiritual gathering in the premises and met Peethadhishwar Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, from whom she sought blessings for a successful performance in Australia. Dhirendra Shastri praised Kranti’s dedication and achievements, calling her a proud representative of the nation.
Speaking on the occasion, Kranti Gaud said she felt honoured to meet the spiritual leader. She also appreciated the social initiatives carried out at Bageshwar Dham, particularly the mass marriage ceremonies conducted for underprivileged girls. She highlighted that this time around, nearly 100 tribal girls were part of the event, calling it a unique and commendable effort.
“I am visiting Australia for the first time. I prayed at Bageshwar Balaji Dham that our team returns victorious,” Kranti said.
Dhirendra Shastri, while blessing her, expressed confidence that Kranti and the Indian women’s team would perform brilliantly on Australian soil. He wished them success and said he hoped they would proudly raise the Indian tricolour through their achievements.
