Barmer: Barmer District Collector Tina Dabi expressed strong displeasure over rampant negligence and poor maintenance at the Barmer Veterinary Hospital and Roadways Bus Stand during an unannounced inspection. The sudden visit revealed alarming levels of dirt, disorder, and foul odor, leaving even the collector struggling to breathe.
During her surprise inspection, Tina Dabi found the premises in a shocking state. Toilets were filthy, drinking water facilities were inadequate, and broken taps added to the chaos. At the bus stand, the situation was equally poor, with CCTV cameras not operational, worsening overall management.
Collector Dabi did not hesitate to reprimand the responsible officials on the spot, ordering immediate cleaning and maintenance. She directed the technical staff to restore CCTV functionality and instructed that a detailed report of all shortcomings be prepared and submitted to the concerned departmental secretaries for strict action against those responsible.
The collector’s inspection was accompanied by several departmental officers from Barmer, highlighting the administration’s focus on accountability and urgent corrective measures. Tina Dabi’s firm stance reflects her commitment to improving public services and ensuring that civic facilities meet acceptable standards.
