Hyderabad Tragedy: Woman Falls from 8th Floor While Trying to Escape on Seeing Father

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident in Kollur, Sangareddy district of Telangana, a 22-year-old woman died after falling from the eighth floor of a residential building. The deceased has been identified as Sakina Begum.

According to police, Sakina, who worked at a call center, had gone to her father’s vacant flat in Kollur to meet her boyfriend, Ali (22). During their time inside the flat, Sakina’s father unexpectedly arrived, causing her to panic. In an attempt to escape, she tried to climb down from the balcony along with Ali. Unfortunately, she lost her balance and fell, sustaining fatal injuries.

The police confirmed that the incident took place last week within the Kollur police jurisdiction. Sakina’s father was alerted by someone in the society and arrived at the flat. When Sakina saw him at the door, instead of opening it, she attempted to sneak out via the balcony.

Ali reportedly tried to hold her hand and help her descend safely, but the attempt went tragically wrong. Sakina suffered severe injuries and was declared dead at the scene. Following the incident, the police have registered a case of accidental death against Ali.
