Husband Plots Chilling Murder: Driver Killed for Laughing With His Wife, Truth Stuns Police

In a shocking incident from Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, a schoolteacher’s driver was brutally murdered after her husband grew suspicious of the friendly conversations between them. What initially appeared to be a mysterious roadside killing turned out to be a well-planned contract murder masterminded by the woman’s husband himself.

Police cracked the blind murder case within just three days by scanning more than 500 CCTV footage clips, eventually uncovering an unexpected and disturbing conspiracy.

The Plot Behind the Murder

According to police, the victim, Deepchand Sahu, worked as a driver for a local schoolteacher, regularly picking and dropping her. His cheerful nature and light-hearted conversations with the woman made her husband, Anil Khatik, increasingly insecure and angry.

Blinded by suspicion, Anil decided to eliminate Deepchand. He sent the driver to buy engine oil from Bhagwan Ganj, where hired contract killers were already waiting. They intercepted Deepchand on the way and killed him using a sharp chikta knife.

₹1 Lakh Contract, ₹20,000 Paid in Advance

Investigations revealed that Anil conspired with his brother-in-law Surendra from Karrapur. Together, they hired a group of youngsters for ₹1 lakh—₹20,000 was paid in advance, while the remaining amount was to be given after the murder.

Shockingly, three of the eight accused are Class 12 students. All eight have now been arrested.

A Murder That Shattered a Family

Deepchand’s killing has devastated his family. He was scheduled to get married on December 4, and preparations were already underway. Wedding cards had been printed, relatives were arriving, and his fiancée’s god bharai ceremony was to take place the very next day after his murder.

What was meant to be the happiest moment of his life instead turned into a heartbreaking tragedy.
