Lucknow, January 6, 2026: After the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process in Uttar Pradesh, district-level draft voter lists have been released. The process for the final publication of the voter list is now underway.
The Election Commission has advised voters to verify their names in the draft list. There are three easy ways to do this online:
1. Search by EPIC Number
Visit the National Voter Service Portal at https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in. Select your preferred language and enter your EPIC (Electors Photo Identity Card) number. Choose the state as Uttar Pradesh, fill in the captcha, and click “Search.” The portal will show whether your name appears in the voter list.
2. Search by Personal Details
If you do not remember your EPIC number, you can search using personal details. Select your state and language, then enter your full name, father’s name, date of birth, age, gender, district, and assembly constituency. After filling in the captcha, click “Search” to check if your name appears in the voter list.
3. Search via Mobile Number
You can also search using your registered mobile number. Select your state and language, enter your mobile number, and click “Send OTP.” Once the OTP is received on your phone, enter it and click “Search” to view your name in the voter list.
What to Do If Your Name Is Missing
If your name does not appear, contact your Booth Level Officer (BLO) for assistance. If your name was previously in the list but is missing after the SIR process, the BLO can provide the necessary forms. New voters who have turned 18 by January 1, 2026, can apply using Form-6 through the Election Commission’s website. Online submission, verification, and approval processes ensure your name is added to the voter list.
