The scheme also offers easy installment options, making home ownership more accessible to middle-income buyers. On Saturday, 32 beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana received possession documents at the HDB office in Shastrinagar. During the event, officials highlighted the ongoing discount offer on 1,420 flats under the Jagruti Vihar Extension Scheme.

According to HDB data, available flats include:

  • F-32: 762 units
  • F-57: 330 units
  • F-64: 303 units
  • F-100: 25 units

Out of the total 2,304 flats, 597 applicants have already been selected.

Discount details:

  • 15% discount for buyers who make full payment within 60 days.
  • 10% discount for those completing payment between 60 to 90 days.
  • Special provision for government employees, current and former soldiers, who can secure flats by paying only 25% upfront.

Property Manager Sunil Sharma stated that allocation will be done on a first-come, first-served basis, with registration open from 30 December 2025 to 31 January 2026. Executive Engineer Sasmita Katiyar, SP Singh, and Deepanshu Bansal were also present during the event.

This initiative comes at a time when rising inflation has made buying a home challenging for many, offering significant relief and opportunity for prospective homebuyers.
