Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh: A shocking and horrifying case has emerged from Kanpur, where a police officer and his accomplice abducted a 14-year-old girl and gang-raped her in front of a police official. The incident occurred on the night of January 5, 2026, in the Sachendi area, when the minor had stepped out to relieve herself.

Details of the Incident

The victim, a seventh-grade student, lives with her two older brothers in the Sachendi area. Their mother passed away, and their father is ill. According to the victim’s brother, his sister went outside late at night to relieve herself. When she did not return, the family began searching for her. She returned home around midnight, visibly shaken and distressed. She disclosed that two men had abducted her in a black Scorpio vehicle.

The accused, one of whom is a police officer, allegedly assaulted the victim for almost two hours in the car, near the railway tracks. After leaving her unconscious, they abandoned her near her home and fled. The girl regained consciousness and made her way back home.

Allegations Against the Police

The victim’s family has made serious allegations against the police for not taking immediate action after the incident. They believe the case was initially suppressed due to the involvement of a police officer. The victim’s brother explained that around midnight, he found his sister lying in an unconscious state outside their home. Once she regained her senses, she revealed the horrific incident.
