Horrific Bike Accident in Hapur: Father and Son Injured as Vehicle Runs 50 Meters on Its Own, CCTV Captures Terrifying Moment

Hapur, UP: A chilling accident on the Hapur National Highway left a father and son critically injured after their speeding bike lost control and crashed into the roadside railing. Shockingly, the bike continued to roll on its own for nearly 50 meters after the riders were thrown off. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.

Accident Details

The accident occurred near Shiva Dhaba in the Pilkhuwa Nagar Kotwali area. According to reports, Bhopal Singh, a resident of Kaanvi village, was traveling with his son Charan Singh from Ghaziabad towards Hapur. Suddenly, the bike lost balance at high speed and collided violently with the side railing. The impact threw both father and son onto the road, leaving them seriously injured.

Even more astonishing, the unmanned bike continued rolling down the highway for approximately 50 meters before finally coming to rest in the dhaba’s parking area. Witnesses described the scene as terrifying, with the runaway bike posing an additional risk to bystanders.

Emergency Response

Nearby locals immediately alerted the police and ambulance services. The Pilkhuwa police team arrived promptly and transported the injured duo to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.

CO Anita Chauhan commented that excessive speed and negligence are the primary causes of road accidents. She urged all drivers to adhere strictly to traffic rules and maintain safe speeds on highways, emphasizing that even a small lapse can prove deadly.
