Rewa, Madhya Pradesh: Chaos erupted in the Civil Lines area of Rewa on Sunday when two young women, allegedly intoxicated, created a scene in the middle of a busy street. Eyewitnesses reported that the women were verbally abusing passersby, causing temporary traffic disruption on the Rewa-Satna main road. A video of their antics quickly went viral on social media, drawing widespread attention.
Police investigations revealed that the incident was not entirely voluntary. The women, residents of Chirhula village in the Bichhiya police jurisdiction, were reportedly given excessive amounts of alcohol by a young man, who then stole their mobile phones and fled the scene.
Civil Lines police arrived promptly to control the situation and ensured the safety of the women by sending them back home. Authorities have advised the public not to speculate and have warned against similar incidents in the future.
While no serious injuries were reported, the video has sparked discussions online about public safety and the dangers of alcohol abuse.
