Hathras Case Shocks Community: Minor Girl Becomes Five Months Pregnant After Sexual Assault by Brother

Hathras, Uttar Pradesh: A deeply disturbing case has come to light in Hathras, where a 15-year-old minor girl became five months pregnant after being sexually assaulted by her own brother. The girl’s mother, a widow, took her to the hospital after she complained of severe abdominal pain. Medical examination confirmed the pregnancy, leaving the mother shocked. She has now approached the Hathras Superintendent of Police (SP), demanding strict action against the accused.

Incident Details

The victim, a Class 10 student, resides in a village under Mursan police station. In July, the son of her paternal aunt, a resident of Sikandrabad in Bulandshahr district, stayed at her home. According to the victim’s mother, the accused sexually assaulted her daughter repeatedly over three to four days when she was away for work. He allegedly threatened the girl with death to prevent her from speaking out, but continued to visit the house and assault her whenever she was alone.
