Haryana Government Transfers Six IAS Officers in Major Administrative Reshuffle

Chandigarh: The Nayab Singh Saini-led Haryana government on Tuesday carried out a significant administrative reshuffle, ordering the transfer of six IAS officers with immediate effect. The official notification assigns additional responsibilities to several officers while retaining their existing charges.

According to the government order, 2007-batch IAS officer Ravi Prakash Gupta has been appointed Principal Secretary, Urban Estates Department, along with the additional charge of Divisional Commissioner, Hisar.

Rohtak Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta has been given the additional responsibility of Additional Secretary, Irrigation Department, while continuing in his current role.

IAS officer Aparajita, who is currently serving as Deputy Commissioner of Kaithal, has been assigned additional charge as Additional Secretary, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Department.

Meanwhile, Anshaj Singh, Director General and Secretary of the Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of Advisor and Secretary, Civil Aviation, replacing Narhari Singh Bangar.

In another key move, Vikram, Managing Director of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN), has been appointed Managing Director, Haryana Minerals Limited, New Delhi, while retaining his position as MD of DHBVN.

Additionally, Virendra Lather, District Municipal Commissioner and Commissioner of Ambala Municipal Corporation, has been assigned the additional role of Special Secretary, Grievances Redressal Department, while continuing his present responsibilities.

The government clarified that appointment orders related to Narhari Singh Bangar will be issued separately at a later date.

This reshuffle is seen as part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to streamline administration and enhance governance efficiency.
