
Jind (Haryana): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has won widespread appreciation after a heartwarming moment during a public event in Uchana Assembly constituency of Jind district. In a rare gesture, the Chief Minister invited a young man from the crowd to sit inside his helicopter, fulfilling the youth’s wish on the spot.
The incident took place on Wednesday when the Chief Minister visited Uchana to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of five major development projects worth ₹103.31 crore.
Youth Shouts From Crowd, CM Responds Immediately
As CM Saini was preparing to leave the venue in his helicopter, a voice from the crowd loudly called out in Haryanvi, requesting him to allow the youth to sit in the helicopter as well.
The moment the Chief Minister heard the appeal, he signaled his security personnel and immediately asked them to bring the young man closer.
Crossed Barricade to Reach CM
A video circulating on social media shows the youth jumping over barricades and rushing towards the Chief Minister. Initially, police personnel tried to stop him, but he was allowed to proceed after the CM’s commandos gestured in his support.
The Chief Minister then personally invited the youth inside the helicopter and offered him a seat next to him. CM Saini interacted with the young man, asking his name and village details. The interaction reportedly lasted for around five minutes.
Later, the youth revealed his name as Sonu.
BJP Shares Video, Gesture Praised
The Haryana BJP shared the video on social media, praising the Chief Minister’s gesture. The party wrote that CM Saini responded to the young man’s call and fulfilled his wish by letting him sit in the helicopter.
The incident has been widely praised online, with many calling it a simple yet impactful example of a leader connecting directly with common citizens.
CM Targets Congress in Speech
During his address in Uchana, CM Saini also launched a sharp attack on the Congress party. He accused Congress leaders of spreading misinformation and making false promises for decades without delivering real development.
He said Congress had only worked for votes and remained trapped in dynastic politics, while his government is committed to ensuring development in Uchana and across Haryana.
The Chief Minister also spoke about employment schemes and accused the Congress of misleading people even on welfare and power supply issues.
