Hapur Man Performs Dangerous Stunts on Dedicated Freight Corridor Bridge, Risking Lives of Motorists Below

Hapur: A shocking incident in Pilkhuwa has highlighted the perilous lengths some youths go to for social media fame. A video showing a young man performing dangerous stunts atop the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) railway bridge went viral online, prompting immediate police action.

In the viral footage, the man can be seen hanging from the bridge railing and using the structure as if it were a gym, completely disregarding his safety. Hundreds of vehicles were passing at high speed on the highway below, and a minor slip could have proven fatal. The sight of the man dangling from the bridge also caused panic among several drivers, temporarily disrupting traffic. Fortunately, no major accident occurred.

Police have identified the man as Kapil, son of Bablu, resident of Aryanagar, Pilkhuwa. He is currently in police custody for questioning, and legal proceedings are underway. Officials emphasized that such stunt activities not only endanger the individual performing them but also pose serious risks to passersby and motorists.

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has also taken note of the incident. RPF officer Rakesh Yadav stated, “Engaging in such acts on the DFC bridge is illegal and poses a significant threat to public safety as well as railway property. Action is being taken based on the viral video, and strict measures will be enforced against the culprit.”

Local authorities and railway officials have appealed to the youth to avoid dangerous stunts for social media recognition. They reiterated that such activities will be closely monitored, and strict action will be taken against those attempting similar reckless behavior in the future.
