Hamirpur Horror: Nude Body of Young Woman Found on Highway, Suspected Murder After Assault

Hamirpur, UP: In a chilling incident in Hamirpur district, the bloodied, nude body of an unidentified young woman, estimated to be around 30 years old, was discovered early Thursday morning along the Kanpur-Sagar National Highway near Ramna village in the Maudha police jurisdiction. Disturbingly, stray dogs were seen gnawing on the body, shocking local passersby. Authorities were immediately alerted and the body was secured for post-mortem examination.

Immediate Police Response
The Maudha police reached the site after receiving the distress call from shocked onlookers. The victim was found completely naked and covered in blood, with some parts of the body already disturbed by dogs.

Forensic Investigation Initiated
Considering the severity of the incident, SP Dr. Diksha Sharma, ASP Manoj Gupta, and CO RK Pandey personally inspected the site. A forensic team and field units were deployed to collect evidence. At the scene, authorities recovered the victim’s jeans and netted kurta. The silver toe rings on her feet and a red kalava (sacred thread) on her wrist could play a crucial role in identifying her. Police have circulated her photos to surrounding villages and police stations to facilitate identification.

Multiple Teams Formed
The body has been taken for post-mortem under a panel of doctors. Several police teams have been constituted to trace the perpetrators and establish the identity of the victim.

Suspected Assault and Murder
Preliminary investigations suggest that the woman may have been sexually assaulted and then murdered, with her body discarded along the highway. A similar previous case was reported in the Maudha area, where a woman from Banda was murdered and her body left by the roadside, which came to light several days later.

Rising Crime Concerns
Murder incidents in Hamirpur have reportedly been increasing steadily, raising concerns among locals about law and order. Authorities have urged citizens to immediately report any leads or information related to the case.

SP Statement
SP Dr. Diksha Sharma stated that the victim’s identity has not yet been confirmed. She confirmed that the post-mortem is underway and multiple investigative teams are working diligently. “The investigation is progressing rapidly, and we expect a breakthrough soon,” she added.
