Gurugram: Private School Staff Accused of Beating Student and Mother, Forcing Boy Into Cold Water

Gurugram: A disturbing incident has emerged from Bhondsi, Gurugram, where staff at a private school are accused of physically assaulting a student and his mother. The mother alleged that she was informed by the school that her son had been injured. Upon arriving at the school, she claims that three teachers brutally beat both her and her son.

Allegations of Brutality
The victim’s mother stated that when she insisted on meeting her son, she found his face swollen and he was barely able to speak. She alleged that the student had been subjected to physical punishment since 9:00 AM that morning. Teachers Riya, Zia, and Anurag reportedly dragged the boy into a classroom and began hitting him without asking questions. The mother claimed that her son was choked, suffered a head injury, and may have even sustained a fracture. Additionally, she alleged that the staff had placed him in cold water as a form of intimidation.

Principal’s Statement
The school’s principal denied the allegations, claiming that the student had sent abusive messages on social media. According to the principal, teaching was withheld due to the student’s behavior, and the mother created a scene at the school. School authorities also alleged that the parents were making false accusations against the staff.

Medical Attention and Police Complaint
The student, an eighth-grader from Ryan Enclave, was initially treated at Sohna Civil Hospital and later admitted to Sector-10 Civil Hospital for two days. The mother expressed concerns that the school management might tamper with CCTV footage.

Alleged Police Bias
The mother also raised concerns about police conduct at the scene. She alleged that the police were initially cooperative but changed their approach after receiving a call from a senior official linked to the school. She claimed that police threatened her and suggested that she apologize, warning that her child could be sent to jail. The mother later recorded a video stating that her son had been severely beaten at the school and was taking him to the hospital for treatment.

Investigation Underway
Police have confirmed that they are investigating the matter and statements from all parties involved are being recorded. Further action will be based on the findings.
