Gurugram Police Raid Illegal Party at Farmhouse, Arrest 18 Including 16 Foreign Nationals

Gurugram, Haryana: Ahead of the New Year, Gurugram police conducted a raid on Monday at a farmhouse in the Bhondsi area where an illegal party was underway, involving foreign nationals. The police arrested 18 people, including 16 foreigners, and registered a case against them.

Party Details and Raid
The farmhouse at Elegant Farm B-2, Behlpa Green, reportedly hosted a party with DJ music, alcohol, and gambling arrangements. Police received information about the illegal gathering and raided the location under the supervision of Station House Officer Surendra Singh. During the raid, foreign nationals were found dancing to DJ music, consuming alcohol, and participating in gambling activities. Security personnel Brahmprakash and Santosh, residents of Sirhol Sector-17/18, were also apprehended for assisting in organizing the party.

Seizures and Investigation
Authorities seized cash amounting to ₹3.2 lakh and liquor worth approximately ₹5 lakh, including 24 crates of premium spirits and 16 crates of beer. Police are investigating whether the Nigerian nationals arrested are linked to other criminal activities. The farmhouse owner and manager are currently being traced for questioning.

Legal Action and Deportation
All arrested foreign nationals are Nigerian, including three young women and one adult female. Many reside in Delhi (Mehrauli, Khanpur, Chhattarpur, Raju Park, Munirka, Mohan Garden, Saket) and Faridabad Sector-85. None could produce valid visa or passport documents. Cases have been registered under the Foreigners Act, Excise Act, and Gambling Act for illegal party, alcohol consumption, and gambling activities. The police will notify the respective embassy, and all foreign nationals are likely to face deportation.

Preventive Measures for New Year
DCP South, Dr. Hitesh Yadav, stated that the police will maintain heightened vigilance on farmhouses during New Year celebrations, and anyone found violating laws will be booked and face legal consequences.
