Gurgaon Student Held Captive, Brutally Abused by Live-in Partner for Three Days

Gurgaon: In a shocking case from Gurgaon, a female student from Tripura has accused her live-in partner of horrific abuse over a span of three days. According to police reports, the victim alleges that her partner held her captive in a PG accommodation, subjected her to repeated physical assault, and reportedly poured sanitizer on her private parts, causing severe burns. The accused has been arrested, and an investigation is underway.

Held Captive for Three Days

The victim, a second-year Biotechnology student at a private university in Gurgaon, claims that the abuse occurred between 16–18 February. Police apprehended the accused on 19 February. The student’s mother has made serious allegations, stating that her daughter was held against her will, physically abused daily, and humiliated in multiple ways. She further alleged that the accused urinated on her daughter and repeatedly inflicted burns on her private parts.

Brutal Assault Details

The victim described the ordeal: “He repeatedly beat me, slammed my head against a cupboard, struck me with a steel bottle, and smashed a clay pot on my head. He threatened that I would never walk properly or be able to have children.” She added that during the assault, the accused also used a knife to cut her legs and beat her with kicks and punches for three consecutive days.

Incident Linked to Online Meeting

According to the FIR filed at Badshahpur police station, the accused met the student via an online app on 6 September 2025. The victim alleged that he had promised marriage and initiated physical relations when she visited Delhi later that month. Subsequently, they began living together in a rented house in Gurgaon. Tensions escalated over time, with the accused growing increasingly suspicious and violent. In January, he allegedly physically assaulted her and pressured her not to inform her family. On 13 February, they moved to a PG in Sector 69, rented in the accused’s name.

Rescue and Legal Action

On 18 February at around 10 PM, the victim managed to call her mother from the accused’s phone, revealing the abuse. Police were alerted and immediately rescued her, admitting her to a hospital where her condition is stable. Multiple charges have been filed against the accused, and he remains in custody. Police are maintaining close coordination with doctors and the victim’s family, treating the case as a high-priority crime. Authorities have confirmed that all witnesses are being secured and the trial will be expedited, with a strict sentence sought in court.
